So I just finished my first pass on adding to this wiki, and wow. I can't believe we're only 10 issues deep in this series and there's so much content! I hope everyone likes what I've added, I took some time on a few characters to actually outline their stories thus far. Here are a few things that came to mind while I was working this evening:

  1. I added a new category called Factions, I feel it's an appropriate addition to the locations Cleave, Wreath, and The Robot Kingdom; I also couldn't think of any other category for Freelancers. The best way to make the whole universe and the conflict more understandable in the context of this wiki would be to take a step back and look at all the groups involved.
  2. I really like the idea of including even the smaller characters, especially all of these Freelancers that have been briefly mentioned so far in the comic's run. I doubt we'll ever get to know much about The Fluke or The March (other than his awesome handlebar mustache), but the world BKV and Fiona Stables have put onto these pages is so well defined I just can't ignore those small details.
  3. What's the deal with Wing-Bleeding? The Landfall page gives some gender-specific details on the ritual that I did not catch at all in the book. I went back and paged through a couple of issues, specifically looking at the character McHenry, and I can totally see where that idea came from. However, the notion that it's speicifically applied to females to weaken their wings doesn't explain some images on Sextillion in issue #4 where we see several female Landfallians entangled mid-air with their wings full-sized and fully functional. I wonder if it may be related to social class? Another possibility is that those harlots on Sextillion just aren't into the cultural traditions of their homeland.

Anyway, that's all I got for now. I'll be back.
